Earlier this month in Mexico a woman named Margarita Suarez passed away.

According to her family, the elderly Mrs. Suarez used to feed about 20 stray dogs at her doorstep each morning, and a bunch of stray dogs in the streets around her house.

When the funeral was held, of course her friends and family started showing up to pay their final respects. But there were some other guests in attendance. At least four of the stray dogs she used to feed showed up.

No one at the funeral had ever seen them before. They even stayed for the viewing.

Then when a hearse took Mrs. Suarez's casket to the funeral, the dogs followed. And then after the funeral, they came back to the funeral home and hung around until her body was cremated.

That, my friends, might just be the "aww chér" story of the year. Too sweet.
