Halo Top, the cult favorite ice cream brand that is low calorie and oh-so-delicious could be coming to a Subway Restaurant near you.The dessert company prides itself on making ice cream that is 260-380 calories per pint, with amazing flavors like key lime pie and peanut butter and jelly. They currently have 25 flavors in the lineup, with seasonal choices as well.

Halo Top has partnered up with Subway to introduce 'hand spun' milkshakes from July 22- September 4 at 1,000 of their restaurants across the US. The test run will offer vanilla bean, chocolate and strawberry flavors in a milkshake that is only 350 calories or less, and 20 grams of protein. The treats will be available in Colorado Springs, Colorado; Hartford, Connecticut; Longview and Tyler, Texas; Salt Lake City, Utah; Toledo, Ohio; and West Palm Beach, Florida. Ummm, could y'all please add a Louisiana location in there??!

Although Halo Top only recently expanded their brand to include 'Halo Pops', they are hoping to reach a bigger fan base with products other than their wildly popular pints. Let's hope the 'test' is everything they expected, so that we can have some of that crazy goodness at our local Subways!
