Harry Potter’s Yule Ball Celebration Heading to Houston, Only One in U.S.

If you're a Harry Potter fan, then maybe a fall trip down I-10 to Houston is in your future.

Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration is heading to The Bayou City in November and it'll be the only U.S. city to host the event.

What exactly is Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration?

If you've read the books and/or watched the movies, you know in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire there's a dance put on at Hogwarts called the Yule Ball. This is somewhat of a re-creation of that celebration.

The lavish affair will kick off on November 18 at the Galleria-area venue Paraiso Maravilla (5714 Fairdale Lane). There will be various sessions open daily.

Tickets are limited and go on sale at 11:00 am this Thursday, September 8. Fans are encouraged to join the waitlist here, as these passes are sure to be a hot ticket.

What can we expect from the Yule Ball?

The event is co-produced by Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment and Fever, so you know it'll be first-class.

"Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration" is a spellbinding party where guests will be able to participate in iconic and beloved moments from the Harry Potter film series.

The experience features music, dancing, several Wizarding World elements, delicious treats and much more, celebrating the Yule Ball moment in a whimsical, elegant way.

How should you dress for the event?

Although not mandatory, guests are encouraged to dress up in their best ball and Wizarding World attire. Get ready to gather for a night of surprises and, as Professor McGonagall put it, "well-mannered frivolity."
