LEF Awards Presented Last Night

There's a lot of professions who don't care the recognition and acknowledgement for all the wonderful things done for society. File the teaching profession under this category. Well, last night the Lafayette Education Foundation put on its annual Awards banquet at the Heymann Performing Arts Center to give thanks to these selfless individuals.

A night of tears and inspiring stories were shared as parochial and public school teachers took center stage Thursday at the 13th annual Lafayette Education Foundation Teacher Awards.

97.3 The Dawg salutes everyone in the teaching profession and we thank you all for doing what you do for our youth!
