Helping Hands For The Holidays Now Taking Nominations [Video]
If you can spare a minute or two I'd really appreciate you taking a look at the video where we explain the Helping Hands for the Holidays nomination process. It's really simple and it's a great way for you to help us anonymously helping out deserving families or individuals this holiday season.
In your nomination, I will need you to include as much information about the nominee as you can spare. I also want your contact information. We always have a few more questions. Once you have that put together you can send me an email to this address,
bruce@973thedawg.com Please put Helping Hands in the subject line.
If you'd like to help us help others you can make a monetary gift to Community Foundation of Acadiana. Simply specify that your gift is for Helping Hands. If you are an auto mechanic, carpenter, contractor, craftsman or handyman or if you would like to make an in-kind donation of goods and services send me an email about that too.
Community Foundation of Acadiana will once again be the stewards of our finances. Stuller Familly Foundation will help us sort through all the details of the nominations and Covenant United Methodist Church will help us in the process of distributing the grants that we are able to offer.
One other thing that I feel is very important about our program. All nominations remain anonymous. We believe in dignity and we want to offer our Helping Hand in the most dignified way we can. Thank you for helping us help others. Merry Christmas!
