It happens to everyone. You flush the toilet and to your horror it starts backing up because the toilet done clogged. Well, after you're done screaming "NO, NO...NO!" take a breath. I just came across this instructional video showing what looks to be a great way to unclog that toilet, especially if you don't have a plunger handy.

Basically, according to this video, all you'll need is some dish washing soap and some sort of container to put hot water in.

Here are the steps to follow:

1) Squeeze the dish soap into the toilet and wait until it sinks to the bottom, going down the drain.

2) Fill whatever container you have with some hot water. Pour that water into the toilet.  Be careful not to pour so much you overflow the bowl.

3) Wait until you see that water has gone down.

4) Pour more hot water into the toilet bowl, then flush.

If your problem isn't too bad bad, hopefully this little trick will help you get everything working again. I don't see why this wouldn't for kitchen and bathroom sinks as well.
