High School Student’s Senior Pictures Touchingly Honor Her Father Who Was Killed In Afghanistan [Video]

Every school year we see a few funny and creative high school Senior pictures go viral. This time a student's Senior pictures have gone viral, but for a very different reason.

Aurora High School senior Julia Yllescas's father was killed in 2008 Afghanistan. Army Captain Robert Yllescas was injured by an IED and later died as a result of injuries according to 1011now.com.

Julia says when she began making her plans for her Senior pictures, she knew she wanted her father with her.

"Why it has hit my heart so hard is that I almost felt when I saw those pictures that he truly was there. And to have a piece of him with me throughout my senior year. Because sometimes it feels like where are you, why did you have to go?"

Julia asked her photographer Snapshots by Suz if she could create an angel, and that's exactly what she got.
