Be your own MacGuyver, and make a spare key for yourself in no time!

The video starts by saying to hold the original key over a flame (like that of a lighter). Once it has that black charcoal-y residue on it, set it down to let it cool.

Place a piece of clear tape over one side of the key. This carbon copies the key to the tape.

Then take the lid of a canned good, and put the tape on it.

The next step takes some skill, in that it has to be extremely accurate. You then cut the outline of the key with scissors, or another sharp cutting device.

Voila! You have a makeshift spare key!
