Iowa Man Facing Multiple Obscenity Charges
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Deputies have arrested and charged an Iowa man with 39 counts of obscenity and two counts of telephone harassment. Officials in Calcasieu Parish say they were alerted about the actions of Kenneth Raimer by deputies in Cameron Parish last month.
During the course of the investigation in Calcasieu Parish, it was discovered that Raimer sent at least three women unsolicited nude photos and comments of a sexual nature. All three of the women say Raimer was just an acquaintance. One of the women interviewed by police said that she asked Raimer to stop contacting her on at least two separate occasions.
Raimer was booked into the Calcasieu Parish Correctional Center on Tuesday. He is facing 39 counts of obscenity and two charges of telephone harassment. Raimer posted a $31,000 bond and was released.
