What skills make a man a 'manly man' in Louisiana? After all, that's what women say they want in a potential mate. We surveyed Shreveport-Bossier City, LA area residents and got some interesting responses.

What makes a man, 'manly' in Louisiana?

I'm sure a lot of people would say the ability to provide for a family, having a job, etc... is what makes a man, 'manly.'  To me, those things should be expected. Welcome to Adulting 101, right? When I think of a man being 'manly,' I think of a man as being someone who takes care of his family, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. In my humble opinion, a 'manly' man is also trustworthy, honorable, and possesses good character and integrity.

To put these answers in context, you have to take a look at the meme I used to frame the question online. Clearly, we were expecting some humorous answers, but I was personally surprised by the depth of some of the responses. Check 'em out!
