A Monday night fire at a high school damaged a batting cage and softball team's locker room.

KALB reports that the fire happened at Anacoco High School on Monday night and that the school is now accepting donations to replace what was damaged in the inferno.

The school is located on Port Arthur Rd just east of U.S. 171 in Vernon Parish.

As of now, there's no word as to what may have caused the fire, but we will continue to follow this developing story.

If you would like to donate new or used equipment to the school, you can contact the school at 337-239-3039.

KALB also reports that you can drop off donations at the Titans facility at 6132 Masonic Drive in Alexandria or 6921 Buncomb Road in Shreveport from now until Sunday.
