I will be making a call to my grandparents to see if they still have the OG glass collector cups from McDonald's from back in the day.

As a kid, I remember drinking out of these exact cups every day after school, and little did I know that as an adult, I would be so excited to collect cups from a fast food restaurant.

Last year, research showed that the paint used on these collector's cups may contain lead and cadmium, so it looks like McDonald's took a different approach this go round. Instead of positionally poisonous glass cups, they opted for plastic cups minus the lead this time.

The McDonlad's New Collector's Meal Inspired By Fan Favorite Collectibles will be available for a limited time starting at all participating locations Tuesday, August 13th.

These new collectible cups commemorate some of our most unforgettable designs and global collaborations over the years, allowing longtime fans to relive treasured moments and helping a new generation make their own lasting memories.

The Collector's Meal Collection will feature 6 cups for fans to collect when ordering a Sausage McMuffin with Egg sandwich, Hash Brown and Hot Coffee during breakfast hours or a choice of a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac sandwich with fries and a soft drink for lunch or dinner.
