We have a bizarre story out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana after a man ended up in a garbage truck late last week.

WAFB reports that a man was asleep in a garbage dumpster when the trash service came to pick up the waste, and he ended up being dropped into the truck.

The incident happened in the early morning hours at a business located near Perkins Road at Essen Lane.

According to the news station's report, the man was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Colder weather in Louisiana has forced many who live on the streets to seek warmer places, so if you are aware of any warming stations this winter, you may want to notify anyone who you see on the streets.

Another Arctic Blast is expected to reach Louisiana in the days ahead and we could get the coldest temperatures thus far this winter.

Please be on the lookout for those who may need a place to stay warm, and remember to take care of your pets once the frigid temperatures come back into the Deep South.
