Major flooding happened in Lafayette Parish. Lafayette Police even asked people not to drive on Ambassador Caffery between Eraste Landry and Kaliste Saloom. KATC Meteorologist Daniel Phillips says several inches of rain fell in parts of the city Wednesday, leading to a flash flood warning for the area.
