James Dupré and his wife, Kelsie, have welcomed their first child together. Kelsie gave birth to a baby girl named Rellie Evangeline Dupré on Friday (Sept. 20) at 12:03AM in Nashville.

People reports that Rellie Evangeline weighed 9 lbs. and 1 oz. and measured 21 and 3/4 inches at birth.

“Mother and baby are both healthy and currently resting,” a representative tells People.

The couple took Rellie Evangeline's middle name from Evangeline Parish, La., where Dupré grew up.

“We have always loved that name, and Kelsie suggested the idea of that being her middle name,” the singer states.

Dupré has four children from his first marriage, but Rellie Evangeline is his first daughter, and his first child with Kelsie.

Dupré is a country singer who shot to national prominence after appearing on The Voice. The 35-year-old singer is set to help out Randy Travis on the Music of Randy Travis Tour beginning Oct. 16 and spanning 12 shows before wrapping up on Nov. 2. Dupré will sing Travis' iconic hits at the shows, accompanies by the country icon's original band. Travis and his wife, Mary, are slated to make guest appearances at all of the shows.

The singer's current single is "Another Love Song," and Dupré plans to release a new project in 2020, according to his official website.
