Jon Jones Wishes Daniel Cormier Well After Death Of Father

No matter their verbal and physical beef in or out of the octagon, Jon Jones showed respect and well wishes toward Daniel Cormier after the death of his father.

It's been a tough month for the UFC legend, as Cormier lost his first ever heavyweight fight after getting knocked out by Stipe Miocic at UFC 241 on August 17th.

Over the weekend (8/24) Lafayette's own Daniel Cormier announced that his father, Percy Benoit, had passed away after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

DC and Jon "Bones" Jones, the current UFC light heavyweight champion, have had a storied history in and out of the octagon. Be it verbal or physical, the two went at each other.

But in such a time, Jones wished his fiercest opponent well.

While nothing will fully comfort the loss of a father, a kind word from your once bitter enemy can go a long way.
