Country singer Julie Roberts will be playing a concert at The Grouse Room in downtown Lafayette this Friday, April 14th.

This show is a rescheduled date as she was originally set to play in December but that show had to be postponed due to an illness.

The show is set to start at 9:00 pm. Tickets are still available at TheGrouseRoom.com or at the direct link here.

General admission is $25 while various VIP tables are also available for purchase.

Many remember South Carolina native Roberts for her 2004 hit "Break Down Here."

Roberts released two albums on the Mercury Nashville label -- her self-titled debut album in 2004 followed by 2006's "Men & Mascara."

She's since released four albums independently.

Her latest album, "Ain't in No Hurry," was recently released and it premiered in the top 10 on Billboard's country chart.

For her career, Roberts was nominated twice by the Academy of Country Music for Top New Female Artist, nominated by the Country Music Association for the Horizon Award for top new artist, and nominated at the Country Music Television (CMT) Awards for Breakthrough Artist of the Year.

In 2013, you may recall that she took part in the Blind Auditions of the fourth season of The Voice but failed to qualify.

We're looking forward to seeing Julie Roberts in Lafayette for this great night of live country music.
