Acadiana Area Schools Announce Select Closures

Rain continues over most of Acadiana and some flooding issues are showing up in parts of Vermilion and Iberia parishes. The water is forcing the closure of one school and more early dismissals could come as we go through the day.

From our news partners at KATC: Due to sewage and drainage issues, Kaplan Elementary will dismiss at noon today. Parents may begin checking children out of school now at the front office. Buses will leave at noon.
