The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns were able to capture a series win over ULM as they ran away with game 3 of the series and won 19-8 in 7 innings. The Cajuns finish off the regular season with a 27-29 overall record and 15-15 in conference play.

Hunter Kasuls started off the fun for the Cajuns in the 1st inning as he hit an RBI double to score Hayden Cantrelle who doubled before Kasuls. The Warhawks would tie things up in the bottom of the 1st but the Cajuns would take the lead right back in the 2nd inning thanks to a sacrifice fly from Alex Hannie.

The Cajuns would add 3 runs to their lead before the Warhawks would tack another run on to make it 5-2 after 3 innings of play. Kasuls who was the star of the game hit a 3-run home run in the 4th inning to blow the game open. The Cajuns would add 2 more runs in the inning to make it 10-2.

The Warhawks would add a run in the 5th and 6th innings to make it 10-4 but the Cajuns would explode for 9 runs on 12 hits in the top of the 7th, including a 3 run home run from Daniel Lahare to go up 19-4 and essentially put the game away. No hit in the inning was bigger than the last hit as Hunter Kasuls became the first Cajuns baseball player to have 6 hits in a game. Kasuls finished the weekend with 3 HRs and 8 RBIs.

The Warhawks would try to climb back in the game as they scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to make it 19-8 but the Cajuns were able to finish them off in run-rule fashion. The Cajuns are the 8 seed in the conference tournament where they will play Appalachian State at 5:30 pm CT.
