Kids Beignet Toy Set Created By Former Audubon Zookeeper
Our little Louisiana tykes can now play with something that kids in other states would look at in puzzlement, and probably have no clue about. A beignet toy set has been created by Sarah Sulzer, a former zookeeper at the Audubon Zoo. Her company, Creole Kids, of Mandeville, is offering the cute little play sets that include plastic beignets, pretend powdered sugar with shaker, tongs, and a frying basket. And according to Sulzer, the world famous home of hot beignets, Cafe du Monde, will soon be co-branding the sets with their own logo.
They are currently available at all Fleurty Girl locations in New Orleans, and Le Jouet, Magic Box Toys, Olive Patch, Baby’s Corner, Giggles, Nola Boo, Cullen’s Babyland and Nola Gifts and Decor. You can also order them on the Creole Baby website, but it looks like they are currently sold out. Sha!
