That's according to a press release from Lafayette Fire Department spokesman Alton Trahan, who says firefighters and the hazmat team responded to the gas leak at the intersection of Louisiana Avenue and South Orange Street at 2:06 p.m. Atmos officials are working to fix the line while the hazmat team is on scene.
