Lafayette Man Arrested in Mid-day Shooting

20-year-old Lane Domec of Lafayette has been charged with Attempted 2nd Degree Murder following a shooting around 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of Rim Road.

Lafayette Police Sgt. Wayne Griffin says the victim is in the hospital with a non-life threatening injury.

Domec sits in the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center as the investigation continues.
