Lafourche Parish Father Wanted in Alleged Child Abduction

A four-year-old boy is safe after state police say his non-custodial father abducted him.

According to the Louisiana State Police Facebook page, the child, Elyk Brown, was found unharmed early Sunday morning, just hours after troopers put out an endangered/missing child advisory. Brown had last been seen on Saturday with Luke Brown. They were spotted together on LA 1 in Raceland.

State police say Brown is wanted for questioning in connection with Brown's disappearance. So far, state police have not said if Brown will face any charges in connection with this case. Brown may be driving a black 2008 Cadillac with Louisiana license plate number 653 EGK. State police say that plate is a switched plate and may be displayed upside down on the car.
