Limited Edition Saints Helmets To Benefit Brees Dream Foundation
Well, now we know who will be headed to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on February 7th for Super Bowl 55. The fact that it's not our New Orleans Saints still stings, especially with all the talk of this being the last playing year for quarterback Drew Brees. Not only is Drew Brees a beloved member of the team, but a champion for his adopted home state of Louisiana.
The Brees Dream Foundation was established by Drew and Brittany Brees in 2003, and as of this month, they have donated over $45,000,000 to numerous organizations and charities globally. Some of those include the Bayou District Foundation, Second Harvest Food Bank, and the Lousiana Children's Museum. They have also personally made a commitment to the State of Louisiana for $5 million dollars for relief efforts to fight COVID 19. Their mission is "Improving the quality of life for cancer patients, and provide care, education and opportunities for children and families in need."
So it was no surprise that, even though the season is over for our Saints, Drew Brees is still giving back to the city of New Orleans. And in a big way. The Brees Dream Foundation is selling 100 Special Edition helmets inscribed “First to 80,000 Passing Yds” for $2500 each, with all the proceeds benefiting the Brees Dream Foundation. A certificate of authenticity and an acknowledgment letter will accompany each purchase, for tax purposes. This might be the perfect gift for the Saints fan on your Valentine's list this year, but don't wait too long, because there are only 100 available. You can see the helmets below, with details on how to purchase one. Thanks for everything you do, Drew and Brittany!
