Livingston Parish Teacher Accused Of Having Sex With Student

A former 33-year-old Livingston Parish high school teacher has been accused of having sex with a 15-year-student.

Walker Police Capt. John Sharp says Lynsie Pousson Pendarvis was arrested and charged with carnal knowledge of a juvenile and indecent behavior with a juvenile.

Police started the investigation after receiving a tip from a student about the inappropriate relationship between Pendarvis and one of her male students at Walker Freshman High School.
