Louisiana Lottery Confirms $70,000 Winner: Tuesday’s Mega Millions Results
(Baton Rouge, LA) The Louisiana Lottery has had a busy couple of nights as of late. The lottery has seen some big payouts on the two multi-state lottery games, Powerball and Mega Millions. And the Louisiana Lottery has confirmed that the state-sponsored games of Lotto and Easy 5 are also "giving people a reason to smile".
The Louisiana Lottery has confirmed recent wins of $1,000 on a ticket sold at Adrien's Supermarket in Lafayette, and another $1,000 winner on a ticket sold in Breaux Bridge. There have also been winners in the past couple of weeks in Shreveport, Harvey, Abbeville, and Pineville.

What Were Tuesday's Mega Millions Lottery Numbers?
But as far as big wins in Louisiana go, you won't need to open up the card catalog and use the Dewey Decimal System at your local public library; we've done the research for you and can confirm a $70,000 win that could belong to you.
On Tuesday night, the Mega Millions Lottery held its drawing. Here's how that played out.
The top prize in Mega Millions on Tuesday was $243 million. No ticket sold across the game's footprint earned that money. The closest was a Match 5 Million winner that was sold in Tennessee. By the way, thanks to the enhanced Mega Millions format, the Tennessee winner was multiplied by four, so that means the total prize for the $5 investment was $4 million.

In Louisiana, based on our math, the Louisiana Lottery made more than 1,600 winners in Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing. The largest prize earned by a Louisiana-sold ticket was $1,000. Two tickets sold for last night's game earned that amount.
Louisiana Lottery Confirms $70,000 Win in Easy 5 Game Saturday Night
But the big win that was recently revealed by the Louisiana Lottery did not come in Mega Millions; it actually happened over the weekend in the Easy 5 game. The jackpot for this past Saturday's drawing was $70,000, and wouldn't you know it, a ticket sold in Mansura, Louisiana, matched all the numbers needed to take home that prize.
That means when Mega Millions draws tonight, the jackpot prize will be reset to $50,000. But perhaps the best "value" on the board might be the Louisiana Lottery's Lotto game. That game has a jackpot prize of $925,000. Lotto will also draw tonight, as will Powerball.
What Is The Powerball Jackpot For Wednesday Night?
The Powerball jackpot on Wednesday is estimated to be $65 million. That means players could still see a "10x" multiplier should they choose to add Power Play to their ticket. Oh, and the Mega Millions jackpot will also climb for Friday's drawing. The estimated top prize for the annuitized jackpot in Mega Millions is $264 million.
