Louisiana Oyster Beds Reopened
Louisiana oyster growing areas were closed earlier this week because of the threat of runoff from Hurricane Harvey contaminating the waters. AP reports the northward movement of the storm brought less rainfall to the areas than anticipated. Areas 1-28 have been reopened as of Thursday morning.
