Louisiana Ranked As ‘Worst State To Live In’
Normally, when it comes to lists we don't want to be on, we can always count on Mississippi saving us from being dead last. My mom was born in Mississippi so I can make that joke. Well, I can't make that joke anymore, apparently. A newly released list of "Best States To Live In" has just been released by usnews.com, and Louisiana has landed at the bottom.
Factors like economy, education, infrastructure, crime, health care, government and opportunity were used to rank states. Taking the top spot is Massachusetts, followed by New Hampshire, Minnesota, North Dakota and Washington.
The bottom five on the list are New Mexico, Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi and us, Louisiana. We ranked close to last in every category.
When they do a list using categories like food, music, culture and fun, I'm sure we'll be just fine.
