The National Weather Service has already put Louisiana on notice. The next three months are going to be hotter than expected. The official forecast from The Climate Prediction Center suggests that from Ruston to Rayne and DeRidder to Delacroix it's temperatures in June, July, and August will be above the seasonal norms.

For much of South Louisiana that will mean afternoon high temperatures in the middle 90s with the dreaded heat indices drifting into the triple digits for most days during the months that we call summer. Of course, our saving grace is the air conditioner.

Chances are you only think about your air conditioner when it stops working. That's something you need to change and to help you change your way of thinking the folks at Big Will's Air Conditioning and Heating are participating in our Seize the Deal Spring Auction. They are offering a certificate that you might use for new equipment or service on your current system.

The certificate offers $525 that you could use for new equipment, repair services, or something we should all be considering, regular spring maintenance and tune ups on our HVAC systems. If you'd like to find out more about what Big Will's is offering you may check out the Seize The Deal Auction site.

By the way, there are other great items up for bids on the auction too. So, if you like jewelry, home repairs, hunting, fishing, the outdoor lifestyle, or you need some body work on your car you can find all of those goods and services available at auction prices.
