
Louisiana School Bus Driver Arrested For DWI After Bringing Students To School
Bossier Parish schools bus driver, 33-year-old Bridget Whitley, dropped her students off this past Monday safely at their destinations, but then she was arrested following a random drug screen.
Whitley was accused and arrested of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. She faces 2nd offense DWI. Whitley's bond was set at $50,000.
KATC reports that "at the conclusion of her route, she reported to a random drug screening. During the testing, Whitley allegedly showed signs of impairment, prompting further investigation. Police say Whitley performed poorly on a Standard Field Sobriety Test and was arrested."
Whitley admitted to officers she had several alcoholic beverages the previous evening.
