Moss St. & Mudd Ave. Both Blocked by Downed Trees in the Wake of Hurricane Delta
Hurricane Delta was not kind to northside Lafayette.
Like most of Acadiana, the upper Lafayette area is definitely feeling the effects of Hurricane Delta. Winds whipped between 70-90 mph and some trees were simply no match for Delta's gusts.
Here is a look at Moss street between Tissington and Sophia.
Trees are down on many other northside streets including Mudd Avenue.
In addition to those two main northside thoroughfares, this downed canopy was wrapped around a pole near Willow and Moss street near Fat Albert's.
This is also a reminder to stay off of the roads unless you absolutely have to be out and about as crews are rushing to get things cleared and back up and running safely.
If you have photos of damage from Hurricane Delta to your home or neighborhood/area, share them with us (safely).
