No More Red Light Cameras?

Three City-Parish Council members have proposed ending Lafayette's red-light camera enforcement program. YAY. The measure is scheduled for a vote April 3.

I hate those "speed and photo enforced" cameras! Mainly because I think they cause more wrecks by people trying to avoid getting caught on camera for a violation. Slam on your breaks so you won't get flashed, cause a wreck. Seen it a million times.  Have you ever sat at an intersection and seen the light flash one by one as people are zooming through? Let's get rid of those things and give the jobs back to the hard working law enforcement officials in Acadiana! Just my opinion, ya'll.
