Acadian Village will light up its beautiful grounds again this year, using 500,000 lights! Noel Acadien au Village runs December 1 through 23, with new displays, carnival rides, pictures with Santa, music, food and shopping!

A half a million lights will guide your way through the village of old Acadian-style buildings, including the beautiful, picturesque chapel. The gates open at 5:30 nightly, with advanced tickets available at all Acadiana area Shop Rite stores for only $8. Tickets will also be available at the gate for $10.

(Tip: The best nights to attend are Sunday – Thursday; the crowds are lighter and you’ll have more time to roam the grounds!)

Come hungry, because the elves in Santa’s Kitchen will be cooking up a feast! Gumbo, pork jambalaya, nachos, popcorn, poboys, burgers and hot dogs are some of the items on the menu. You’ll also be able to keep warm with hot chocolate!

There will also be a Christmas Shopping Store with great gift ideas for your friends and family.

Noel Acadien at Acadian Village is a Christmas festival fundraiser to benefit LARC, a local 501c(3) non-profit organization benefiting persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  All proceeds directly benefit LARC’s Acadian Village and the residential, vocational, and community supports and services at LARC.
