NOLA Woman Charged With Stealing $861 Worth Of Nail Polish
What could you possibly do with almost one thousand dollars worth of nail polish? I am sure that's a question that New Orleans Police were asking Rashaun Ford who was arrested and charged for doing just that.
According to a report on NOLA.com Ford was implicated by a loss prevention officer at the CVS Pharmacy on Read Boulevard in New Orleans East. The officer speculated that Ford might also be responsible for thefts of nail polish and other items at CVS locations across the city.
The average bottle of nail polish sells from 99 cents to as much as $17.99 per bottle. Some of the polish gift sets and polishing kits can range from $5 to as much as $25. There was no word of just how many bottles of polish the woman had in her possession at the time of her arrest.
