Pier 1 Files for Bankruptcy, Closing 7 Louisiana Stores

We hate to hear this. As the retail apocalypse continues, Pier 1 Imports announced on Monday (February16) that they have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, and are closing up to 450 locations. All of the Canada stores will be shuttered, and 331 US stores. Seven of those locations are in Louisiana, they are listed below.
