To say it has been a busy weekend across Louisiana would be an understatement. New Orleans spent the weekend hosting the Super Bowl and all the celebrity encounters that entails. College softball teams took the fields in Lafayette and Baton Rouge over the weekend. And in communities such as Shreveport, Carencro, and Morgan City there were Mardi Gras balls and parades.

There were also some big lottery drawings hosted by the Louisiana Lottery over the weekend. Now, Friday's Mega Millions and Saturday's Powerball drawings were lackluster for Louisiana players, but Monday night's Powerball drawing in Louisiana, that game did provide a giant spark.

The estimated annuitized jackpot in Monday's Powerball drawing was $141.5 million. The lump sum or cash payout for last night's game was estimated to be $65.6 million. If you played Powerball in Louisiana on Monday, February 10, 2025. You'll probably want to see what numbers come rolling out of the hopper.

Our sources at Powerball confirmed that no ticket sold across the game's footprint matched the numbers needed to claim that more than $140 million jackpot but we are aware of some big winners. A ticket sold in Wisconsin matched all five of the white balls but missed on the Powerball. That ticket is worth $1 million this morning.

Closer to home the Louisiana Lottery has revealed a state-sold ticket earned a major prize in Monday's drawing. The ticket matched four of the white balls and the Powerball. According to the rules of Powerball that Louisiana ticket is worth $50,000 this morning.

If any of those numbers match the numbers that you have on your Powerball ticket you might want to visit the Official Louisiana Lottery website or the Official Powerball website to confirm your win. If this building looks familiar to you, and you bought a Powerball ticket there for last night's drawing then you might be holding a ticket worth $50,000 this morning. Our source inside the Louisiana Lottery has confirmed a $50,000 winner was sold at the Super Serve on Williams Boulevard in Kenner.

If that's you, you'll want to contact your local Louisiana Lottery office to arrange payment on your winnings. Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot will continue to rise for Wednesday's game. The estimated jackpot for the next Powerball drawing is $154 for the annuity and $71.4 for the cash payout.
