For the second straight season, Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball team will be participating in the CollegeInsider.com postseason tournament.

UL will host Texas A&M Corpus Christi on Wednesday at 7pm in first round action.

The Islanders had a solid season in the Southland Conference, as they finished 25-7 overall and 15-3 in conference play. They fell to Stephen F. Austin in the conference tournament championship, 82-60.

The Cajuns meanwhile finished their year 17-14 overall and 12-8 in Sun Belt Conference play, while falling to Arkansas-Little Rock in the Sun Belt tournament semifinals on Saturday.

Coach Bob Marlin's team are one of three Sun Belt teams to make the 32-team tourney. UL Monroe and UT Arlington are the other two teams in the CIT draw.

UL made it to the quarterfinals of this tournament last year as you may recall. They won road games against Incarnate Word and Sam Houston State before falling at home to eventual tournament champion Evansville at home. That game was played at the Blackham Coliseum.
