The reality TV world has lost a beloved member today with the passing of Richard 'Old Man' Harrison of the History Channel reality show 'Pawn Stars'. The show is set at the world famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, and has been on the air since 2009. The Harrison family is headed by the 'Old Man', who, along with his son Rick, grandson Corey, and family friend Chumlee run the wildly popular shop on Las Vegas Blvd., which they built in 1989.

Harrison Sr. was a proud Navy veteran, and often talked about the time he served his country on the TV show. He was 77 years old, and according to an Instagram post by his son, died of Parkinson's disease. History Channel issued a statement on their official Twitter page this morning, and you can see it below. #RIP
