The defensive injuries keep mounting for the New Orleans Saints.

Cornerback Patrick Robinson has been placed on injured reserve, ending his season after just two games.  Robinson was the 32nd overall pick in 2010 and started every game for the Saints last season.  He was playing behind Jabari Greer and Keenan Lewis in the first two games of this season.

Robinson's injury was described as a patella injury.  Saints coach Sean Payton says Robinson will have surgery soon and should make a full recovery.

The Saints have re-signed cornerback Chris Carr, who was one of their final cuts.
