Jahri Evans spent 10 seasons with the New Orleans Saints before signing with Seattle this offseason. Recently released by the Seahawks, he's coming back to New Orleans. The news was first reported by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

With major issues at guard throughout the preseason, the return of Evans isn't a big shock.

Evans, 33, is past his prime, but with knowledge of the Saints system and an impressive history with Drew Brees, he'll likely return to his starting right guard spot.

Evans posses a Hall of Fame worthy resume. 6 Pro Bowls. 4-time 1st team AP All-Pro. 1-time 2nd team AP All-Pro. Super Bowl Champion. 2-time member of the Madden Most Valuable Protectors Award.

Recently, he's dealt with nagging injuries, leading him to miss 5 games last season.

To make room on the roster for Evans, the Saints waived 2nd year quarterback Garrett Grayson.

Grayson, a 3rd round pick out of Colorado State in 2015, possesses good physical skills, but has struggled to learn the Saints playbook.
