As the Saints get ready for Saturday night's matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles, their injury report isn't lengthy, but unfortunately, has one important name on it.

Starting running back Pierre Thomas missed his second straight practice Thursday with a chest injury. Head coach Sean Payton claims Thomas hurt himself last Sunday versus the Buccaneers, but would not give specifics as to what play the injury occurred on, or the severity of the injury.

Thomas has played great in cold weather games for the Saints since making the roster in 2007. He led the Saints in rushing this season, and finished second on the team in receptions with 77. If he cannot practice Friday, his status for Saturday night will be in serious jeopardy.

New Orleans safety Rafael Bush (ankle) returned to practice on a limited basis.

For Philadelphia, only guard Julian Vandervelde (back) did not practice. The Eagles are fairly healthy heading into Saturday night's playoff showdown.
