Saltgrass Steakhouse To Take Over Old Johnny Carino’s Location on Ambassador Caffery

I was just passing on Ambassador Caffery over the weekend in front of the old Johnny Carino's and wondering when some other business was going to take over the building. I can wonder no more.

According to our friends at Developing Lafayette, Saltgrass Steakhouse is set to open in that location.

The Texas favorite is similar to places like Longhorn Steakhouse or Texas Roadhouse, but many would argue that Saltgrass Steakhouse is much better.

Sante Fe Cattle Co. was in negotiations, but evidentally that is no longer happening.
