Sandra Bullock "adopted" Warren Easton Charter High School in New Orleans after it was heavily damaged by Hurricane Katrina back in 2005. Since then, she's given thousands of dollars to the school.

On Monday she surprised the Class of 2014 by showing up at their graduation ceremony at UNO's Lakefront Arena.

She ended up speaking to the graduates and had some quite entertaining advice to the seniors. Some of the gems included:

  • "You have to dance a little bit before you step out in the world, because it changes the way you walk"
  • "Eat something green every day"
  • "Do not pick your nose in public. How about we just go get a tissue?"
  • "If someone doesn't want to play with you, it's okay.  Not everyone is going to love us."

Better yet, check out her whole speech here.
