Common Core is without a doubt a hot button issue for parents right now, and apparently it's a hot button for some of the students who are having to learn it. I understand the ideology behind Common Core, but it to me, it just doesn't make Common Sense. Well, it just didn't make sense to this little 2nd grader from San Jose, California either.
