Shaking Out the Good Stuff: Wing Wars of Acadiana Chicken Festival This Weekend

The third annual Wing Wars of Acadiana, a wing festival and cook-off to benefit Gifting Grace Project, is happening this Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Parc International in Downtown Lafayette.

The event will run from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.

What you need to know about the festival

The festival will include live music, a cook-off, contests, an auction, face painting, fun jumps, a petting zoo, and much more fun for the entire family.

Below is the 2024 festival schedule of events:

• 11:00 am - 11:15 am: Opening Ceremonies
• 11:15 pm - 12:00 pm: The Good Dudes
• 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm: Wing Toss Tourney
• 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm: Talent Show & Awards Presentation
• 1:45 pm - 2:30 pm: Scholarship Giveaway
• 2:30 pm - 3:00 pm: WWA Dance-Off
• 3:00 pm - 3:45 pm: Awards Ceremony
• 3:45 pm - 5:00 pm: Swampland Revival

Ticket Information

This is a ticketed event and it's $5 for general admission. Children 15 & under are admitted free.

There are still tickets for the Wing Toss competition available, which are $15.
