Friday night was a lucky night for a player of the multi-state lottery game Mega Millions. A single ticket sold for the July 24th drawing matched not only all five white ball numbers that were drawn. That ticket also matched the Mega Ball. That made that single ticket worth $124 million dollars. One of the largest multi-state lottery payouts that we've had in this pandemic year of 2020.

Officials with the Mega Millions game say the single ticket was purchased in New Jersey and it matched all the numbers. Which by the way were:

The Mega Millions jackpot will now reset to $20 million dollars for Tuesday's drawing. You might recall that both the Mega Millions Game and The Powerball Game have reduced their starting jackpots to $20 million from $40 million as sales for both games have been hampered by the current pandemic.

The Powerball jackpot, by the way,  is going to be worth an estimated $126 million dollars when those ping pong balls drop shortly before 10 pm Louisiana time on Wednesday night.

Good luck and if you choose to play, we hope you'll play responsibly.
