After suffering a groin injury in week eight, it finally got the best of him.

Kenny Vaccaro played through a wrist injury that he suffered at the beginning of the season. It wasn't until a groin injury versus the Bucs that put him on the sidelines for two weeks.

During the injury-filled game against the Falcons, Vaccaro reinjured his groin. He saw a specialist in Minnesota that is known for keeping players healthy. He was back in action versus the Jets, claiming that he felt better than he had all season after seeing the specialist.

A source says that he was essentially playing on one leg during that game. This caused the Saints to put him on IR.

Vaccaro finished the year with 48 tackles, 1 ½ sacks, three interceptions, seven passes defensed and one fumble recovery.

As his contract is up after this season, he and the Saints will be sitting down to talk soon about his future with the team.
