St. Landry Church Fires suspect Holden Matthews has been indicted in Federal court.

KATC reports 21-year-old Holden Matthews has been indicted by a federal grand jury on "six counts: three counts of intentional damage to a religious facility, and three counts using fire to commit a felony." 

If Matthews is convicted of these charges, he could be given a maximum of 20 years in prison for each count of intentional damage to religious property.

From KATC -

"Matthews faces an additional mandatory minimum of 10 years for the first count of using fire to commit a felony and 20 years for the subsequent counts, all to run consecutively." 

In addition to everything above, Holden Matthews is also facing a $250,000 fine for each of the accounts as well as 3 years of supervised release.
