Every year around Super Bowl season, a fun conspiracy theory starts making the rounds online: the Super Bowl logo secretly predicts which two teams will play in the big game. The idea centers around the colors used in each year’s Super Bowl logo.

Since about 2010, the NFL has leaned into a sleek, minimalist logo designs featuring a different color scheme each season. The conspiracy is that the two dominant colors in the logo match the primary colors of the teams that end up reaching the Super Bowl for that year.

The logo for Super Bowl LX actually uses quite a few different colors, a fact that has some conspiracy theorists claiming this was done to avoid easy one-to-one color matches with specific teams.
