The work will be done in the 3300 block of Ambassador Caffery.

The bridge on Ambassador Caffery in Lafayette will be closed intermittently on Sunday while workers perform routine maintenance on the bridge.

With the new VA Clinic set to open soon, the Lafayette City-Parish Council voted unanimously to install a traffic light near it on Ambassador Caffery.

The work will be done each day between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

As we were leaving lunch today, I was curious as to who was collecting money at the corner of Ambassador Caffery and Cameron Street. Is this even legal?

LeDana Williams, spokesperson for Southeastern Grocers says they are closing the Winn Dixie on Ambassador Caffery.

The work is between the area of Guilbeau Road and Dulles Drive.

"We will meet near Target on Ambassador Caffery and march *towards* the Mall of Acadiana--we'll announce the ending demonstration to honor those whose lives have been negatively affected by the gross misconduct of officers the day of the event."

Lafayette Police Department's Traffic Section is continuing their investigation of the crash.

It is not known at this time if anyone was injured.
